I’ll just quicky throw this in here:

There are now Ubuntu packages available in Launchpad; I’d like to have some people test them:

    the daily version installed and runs for me fine on Linux mint 10

    I just added, the stable release PPA to ubuntu-server 10.10. Everything is installed and running fine.

    Hardware:
    Radeon HD 5770 (proprietary drivers, can’t remember the version ATM)
    AMD Athlon II x4 Propus 620 OC@ 3.00Ghz
    4 Gig Ram DDR 3
