1. This is a  modified version of an upstream mod.  The starting point
was obtained originally as follows:

      rm -fr *birthstones
      git clone \
          https://github.com/poikilos/minetest-birthstones.git \
          birthstones

2. Changes include:

2a. Applied the following patch file, which is included with this file
(oldcoder.txt):

      bucket-birthstones.patch

2b. Removed files  with  spaces in their filenames or,  in some cases,
replaced the spaces with underscores.

2c. Added the files "00README" and "oldcoder.txt" (this file).
